How do I create a new account?

You create an account by clicking the REGISTER link. You will receive an email (called an invitation) which you need to read and respond to before teh site will allow you to enter details and login.
Once you have logged in, choose a password and enter details about yourself, your work, and your interests. You can choose to make information visible to registered users or not. You can share as little or as much information as you wish. The more information  you share, the easier it will be for other workers with similar interests to contact you.

The software running this site is an educationally-directed social network system called ELGG. You will find a user manual for the system online at ELGG.ORG. This will get answer most questions about using the online systems.

Registered users can post material and read information about other users. A small number of users are administrators who operate the  site and can edit or remove postings.
